I still update this one mostly to vent or share things that I don't want to make public....but I update the other a LOT more often.

We had our first OB appointment today. Everything looks good! The only test I had was for anemia, which was negative. Baby's heartrate is at 174 and we got to see the heart beating and everything. I'm 8w 3d, due Oct. 14th. Ultrasound pictures to come. I have a huge freaking headache right now so I'm going to bed!

Good news!!

Fiona is doing SO well since they have put the drain in for the infection. Her appetite is much better and she doesn't seem to be in as much pain. Tomorrow morning I am dropping her off to get her drain removed. HOPEFULLY that will be the last time she will have to go into surgery. She's being such a good mom...I'm so proud of her.

I took a video the other night. The kittens have started to open their eyes and they're becoming a little more adventurous. One of the kittens crawled away from the others and they ALL freaked out. Here's the video.

Well, the kittens are here! I don't think I even ever posted that Fiona was pregnant...but well, she was. Tuesday morning she had 3 of her kittens, then after the 3rd she stopped contracting altogether and I knew there was still a 4th in there, so I brought her in and they gave her 2 doses of oxytocin to try to get her contractions going again. That didn't work, so she ended up needing a c-section. They also spayed her while they did that, thank goodness. So, mommy and babies are all doing fantastic. They're actually beginning to open up their eyes now. I don't know how I'm going to be able to part with any of them. I'm already attached. =/ Here's some pictures:

So that's what I spent most of today doing...cleaning and organizing the living room and kitchen. I think I'm gonna go unpack a couple of boxes. What else is there to do...I still don't have TV, after all. =(
